Lucia Dumas joined the L’Oréal Group in 2018 as Executive Vice President of Communications & Public Affairs after establishing a rich career path in global communications in leading industrial companies (in particular Rhodia and Essilor). She progressed in roles at a variety of levels in corporate and product communications, crisis management and digital communications, making her a truly all-round communications executive. Lucia began her career at Sigma in 1992 as a Marketing Manager and left in 1995 to join the Moulinex Group. For six years, Lucia took on roles in both external and internal communications managing Moulinex’s Corporate Communications and Press. In 2001, she took on new communication responsibilities at Rhodia, where she was appointed as Vice President in Corporate Communications in 2007, joining the Executive Committee. In September 2012, Lucia left Rhodia to join Essilor as Vice President of Corporate Communications where she stayed five years at the helm of the company’s communication strategy. As a highly qualified communications professional with over 20 years of experience, Lucia is fluent in three languages and holds a marketing degree from the European Business School.
